7 THINGS NEVER TO DO ON VALENTINE’S DAY

February 14, Lovers day.
February 14th has become the busiest day for cupid every year.
Most people are busy, thinking of how to make that day wonderful, while for some it’s just like every other day.
It is just a couple of hours to Valentine and as usual everybody is talking about it, and writing one article or the other about it.
I noticed that there are few people talking about the DON’TS of Valentine day and YES, i decided to write something about it.

So, here it goes,
7 things you should never do on valentine’s day

1) Calling up your EX on Valentine’s day

RESIST PLEASE
Occasions like this, especially if you still single, or your new relationship is not going the way you expect, there is that tendency that your thoughts would drift back to the last person you were with, those fond memories you had and all.
It is normal but remember, the past is the past for a reason.
You broke up for a reason, so don't let that moment of weakness make you take decisions you would regret later.

2) Doing nothing on that day

It's a day of love and love means activity
Take yourself out,
Dress to kill,
Be determined to have fun.
Make yourself happy.
Treat yourself real good..
have some self-love time.

3) Going on a First Date

That is a ‘NO NO’ for me.
Remember that pressure that comes on a first date?
You want to impress, you want everything to go perfect.
Most of the time, we go with the hope (high hopes) that He/She would be the 'one'.
What i'm saying is, first dates are hard enough as it is
without the added pressure of taking place on a special day like
this.
Val day is NOT the day to take such dating risk.

4) Giving money as gift:

To me, this is so unromantic.
Or sending recharge cards?
weird too.
Guys are guilty of this.
"I don't know what to buy" That is always the excuse.
By the way, i said unromantic, never said she won't like it.

5) Pretending to be having a good time whereas you are not

Most people do this especially on special occasions such as Christmas, and birthdays.
If you not doing anything on that day, you don't have to pretend you are, it's just Val day, it's not even a public holiday.

6) Assume it’s just for couples

Who made that law?
If you've got a boo, wonderful – If not, or you just got out of a relationship and you still feel bad, you can still spread the love that day, whether it's with yourself, or better still, your family, or friends.
Remember, Misery loves company.

7) On a lighter note;  Don't compose a Poem if you have never done it before and don't record songs to send your patner if your voice is awful.
For God sake do not spoil that special day for your patner.
you’ll put your partner through the ordeal of pretending to like it.
